Benefits for the mentees
The mentoring scheme is open to early career researchers seeking for independence and for young PIs within the first four years from establishing their independent lab. Applicants must be YMCS members. The scheme focuses on career development and supports the mentees with travel grants to visit the mentor’s laboratory and shadow them for 3-5 days. The matches will be made based on the interests of the registered mentees and mentors. The program is currently under development and we expect to start in Fall 2025.
